Ted Leo has long been a staple on any playlist or mixtape i make. I’m not a huge show-goer these days, but I’ve thought about seeing him live many a time.
Tomorrow night, he’s playing a show in my hometown and one of my good friends from high school, Dan Coffman, is opening for him. I didn’t find out about this until a few minutes ago, and of course, I have to work.
I can always keep my fingers crossed that Dan, a fan of The Pig’s chef from his last restaurant, is able to convince Ted that The Pig is the place to be on Wednesday nights in Riverside. A girl can dream, right? Until then, I’ll be lurking on TL’s youtube page alllllll day. Lovelovelove. And congrats, Dan. I’m so happy for you. :)
